Wall: This is the Knights' fifth appearance in the sectional finals. They have won three Central Jersey titles, all in Group 3 (1982, 1983, 2002).
Delsea: This is the Crusaders' 17th appearance in the sectional finals. They have won 13 South Jersey titles, six in Group 2 (1976, 1982, 1984 1986, 2008, 2009) and seven in Group 3 (1979, 2000, 2005, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).
Coaches: Wall's Dan Curcione is 16-15 in his third season. Delsea's Sal Marchese Jr. is 191-65-1 in his 24th season.
Wall key players: Senior running back Sean Larkin has 1,349 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on 175 carries. Junior quarterback Eddie Scott is 61-for-126 passing for 756 yards and seven touchdowns and also has run for 387 yards and three touchdowns. Senior linebacker Kyle Dallicardillo leads the defense with 73 tackles.
Delsea key players: Senior running back Charles Walker has gained 779 yards and scored seven touchdowns on 86 carries. Senior fullback Rashaad Williams has gained 653 yards and scored 10 touchdowns on 141 carries. Senior quarterback Keelan Bourget has run for 497 yards and seven touchdowns on 52 carries. Senior tackle Tyler Kelly leads the offensive line. Senior linebacker Jake Hollowell leads the defense with 69 tackles, while senior defensive back Nick McDonnell has 46 tackles and two interceptions.
Key matchup: Delsea's ground-oriented offense against Wall's sturdy run defense. The Knights shut out Camden, 35-0, in the first round of the playoffs and were even more impressive on Thanksgiving Day in a 21-3 victory over Central Jersey Group 2 finalist Manasquan, which had averaged 31.1 points in a seven-game winning streak.
Fast fact: Delsea is trying to become the first public school to capture five South Jersey titles in a row since Paulsboro won six from 1992-97.
Pick: Wall, 17-14.
