Sat. S.J. boys and girls: DeAngelis matches mark

Jeff DeAngelis tied a Gloucester Catholic boys' lacrosse record, but it was nothing new for his teammates. DeAngelis scored a record-tying six goals in an 18-10 win against visiting Mainland. Pat Richardson, who had five goals Saturday, and James Higginbotham, who had four, each accomplished the feat in the same game last season.

In other nonleague play, Andrew Streilein had a goal and three assists in Lenape's 8-6 home win over Southern Regional.

Olympic Patriot. Dan O'Keefe and Nick Stott each scored twice in Seneca's 6-2 win at Haddonfield.

Girls' Lacrosse

Sam Scapello scored three times and Seneca edged Haddonfield, 6-5, in a nonleague game.

Also in nonleague play, Natalie Peel (six goals), Nicole Donnelly (five), and Rena Carabases (four) combined for 15 goals in Lenape's 17-5 rout of visiting South Brunswick.
