Velez scored 16 of her 21 points in the final frame as the Lions turned back Cinnaminson, 32-24, to claim the Audubon Green Wave Tournament title for the second consecutive year.
Boardwalk Classic - Bill Osborn Memorial Bracket. Julia Braungart scored 17 points, including three three-pointers, and dished out four assists to lead Camden Catholic, the No. 2 ranked team in South Jersey by The Inquirer, to a 52-43 win over Conestoga in the final at Wildwood Convention Center.
Boardwalk Classic - John Carlson Memorial Bracket. Grace Sacco had 13 points and six rebounds as Ocean City beat Berks Catholic, 31-27 in the final at the Wildwood Convention Center.
Collingswood Holiday Tournament. Kacie Walton and LaChelle Colbert each scored 16 points, leading Northern Burlington to a 45-37 championship victory over Clearview.
