Baldwin's Kejohna Hammond sank a 15-foot shot to send the game to overtime, but ultimately, visiting Abington Friends edged the Bears, 51-47, Tuesday in nonleague girls' basketball.

Bianca Adams and Asia Turner led the Kangaroos with 16 points each.

In other nonleague action, Penn Charter turned back Friends' Central, 35-30. Hannah Fox scored 14 points for the host Quakers.

Boys' Basketball

Junior point guard Mike Jolaoso scored 13 of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter of Episcopal Academy's 53-40 nonleague win at Abington Friends.

In other nonleague play, Sean O'Brien drained four threes en route to 19 points as host Penn Charter eased past Germantown Friends, 71-45.

Football

The kickoff of Saturday's PIAA Class AAAA state football semifinal between Neshaminy and St. Joseph's Prep has been moved to 3 p.m.
