Ryan Betley is headed to the Ivy League next year, so he likely had no trouble doing the math to figure out why Downingtown West called a timeout.

Betley had 997 career points when he pulled up for a three-pointer late in the first quarter of the Whippets' 66-51 victory Thursday night at West Chester East.

The made shot completed an 11-point first quarter and gave him an even 1,000 for his career.

The Penn recruit went on to score a game-high 21 points in the Ches-Mont League contest. He now has 1,010 points.

Betley finished 6 for 7 from the foul line.

Josh Warren added 16 points.

West Chester East's Milaj Singletory-Thomas scored 14.

Shane Quigley scored five of his 21 points in overtime to lead Oxford to a 75-68 win at West Chester Rustin. Rustin's Tyler Ramirez tied things with two seconds remaining in regulation.

Christian Ray scored nine of his 23 points in the first quarter and Octorara held on for a 67-64 victory at Sun Valley.

Brandon McCullough scored 11 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter and Avon Grove rolled to a 58-42 win at West Chester Henderson.

Bicentennial. Noah Baldez scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half to spark Phil-Mont Christian to a 58-36 win at MaST Charter.

Public A. Jaquan Arrington scored 11 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as Imhotep Charter closed out Martin Luther King, 71-54, on the road.

Public B. Nisheem Wright made a layup with five seconds remaining in double overtime to send Audenried to a 69-67 victory over visiting Frankford. Wright (31 points) also tied it with a three-pointer at the end of regulation.

Isaiah Wilmore scored five of his game-high 30 points in OT to lift Ben Franklin to a 70-64 win at West Philadelphia. He finished with 10 rebounds and five assists. West Philadelphia's Stephon Maddox (21 points) tied it on a layup with eight seconds left in regulation.

Ade Owodunni scored all five of his points in overtime, including the winner with three seconds remaining to lift Central to a 70-69 victory at Northeast.

Yazid Powell scored all 10 of his points in the first quarter to spark Boys' Latin to a 63-48 home win over Bartram.

Public C. Benford Jones made a steal with three seconds remaining to lock up Mastery North's 54-53 win over visiting Sayre. Daeqwon Plowden scored 18 points.

Tyric Childs scored nine of his game-high 21 points in the second quarter to propel host Randolph to a 55-51 victory over Edison.

Tariq Boyer had 17 points and 11 rebounds to power Dobbins to a 48-32 triumph at Olney.

Public D. Rahee Ellis scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as Palumbo edged Roxborough, 79-76, on the road.

Public E. Derrick McLean (21 points) made a free throw with 1.7 seconds remaining in overtime to give Bodine a 64-63 win at Penn Treaty.

Suburban One National. Mark Flagg scored 18 of his game-high 25 points in the second half as host Pennsbury put away Bensalem, 60-52.

Nonleague. Markus Littles paired 17 points with 16 rebounds to lead Academy of New Church to a 69-62 win at Cheltenham.

Ryan Daly had 26 points and seven rebounds as Archbishop Carroll cruised past Penn Wood, 80-39, on the road. Josh Sharkey had 11 points, five steals and five assists.
