NFL: Browns' Gordon suspended for finale
Josh Gordon will end his troubled season just as he began it - suspended. The Cleveland Browns' enigmatic wide receiver was suspended Saturday for missing a team walk-through and will miss the finale in Baltimore, a source told the Associated Press. Gordon, who led the NFL in receiving yards last season, served a 10-game suspension for repeated drug violations earlier this year.

Gordon, who led the NFL in receiving yards last season, served a 10-game suspension for repeated drug violations earlier this year.
Rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel was late for medical treatment on his injured hamstring, the source said. The Browns typically fine any player who is tardy for meetings or treatment of injuries. Manziel was placed on injured reserve this week after making two starts. The former Heisman Trophy winner is with the team for the season's final game.
Ryan ready to leave
Although no organizational moves have been announced, New York Jets coach Rex Ryan began clearing things from his office before Saturday's team flight to South Florida, sources confirmed to Newsday.
The outcome of the Jets' season finale with the Miami Dolphins likely will change little about Ryan's future with the franchise. The expectation has been that owner Woody Johnson will part ways with his coach of six years.
Johnson already has lined up former Washington general manager Charley Casserly to assist him in the event that he fires Ryan and/or second-year GM John Idzik. Casserly, in turn, reached out to former Green Bay GM Ron Wolf about assisting him with the potential candidate searches.
McClain out
Dallas linebacker Rolando McClain will miss the Cowboys' game Sunday at Washington because of an illness, capping a tumultuous week that included a fire destroying his $1.5 million home in Alabama.
