UFC 168: Where to watch Weidman vs. Silva in Philly area
The Ultimate Fighting Championship will close out 2013 in dramatic fashion with the most highly anticipated rematch in UFC history when middleweight champion Chris Weidman takes on Anderson Silva at UFC 168 on Saturday, Dec. 28, live on pay-per-view TV.
In July, Weidman (10-0) shocked the world with a second-round knockout of Silva (33-5), a man who many believe to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.
"I can't repeat the exact performance, but I can repeat getting a W," Weidman said. "I am very confident I am winning this next fight."
UFC president Dana White believes this could be the biggest pay-per-view event in the company's history.
"Ever since the (July) fight got over, I don't know if there's ever been any more hype, ever, in UFC history after a fight," White said.
The card also features women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (7-0) taking on bitter rival Miesha Tate (13-4) in a rematch of one of the biggest female fights of all time. Back in 2012, Rousey ripped the Strikeforce championship from Tate in a breathtaking war.
UFC 168 will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, on pay-per-view TV starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. Below, in a 30-mile radius, are the Philadelphia-area locations broadcasting the event.
