No. 45, age 32: Signed as a free agent on July 7, 2008. Previously played for the Canadiens, Islanders and Devils.

Blair Betts

No. 11, age 30: Signed, as an unrestricted free agent, Oct. 1, 2009, to a professional tryout before the 2009-10 season. Previously played with the Flames and Rangers.

Danny Briere

No. 48, age 32: Signed as an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2007, after having played with the Coyotes and Sabres.

Daniel Carcillo

No. 13, age 25: Acquired in a trade with Coyotes on March 4, 2009, in exchange for Scottie Upshall and a second-round pick in 2011.

Jeff Carter

No. 17, age 25: Drafted in the first round (11th overall) of the 2003 draft.

Simon Gagne

No. 12, age 30: Drafted in the first round (22nd overall) of the 1998 draft.

Claude Giroux

No. 28, age 22: Drafted in first round (22nd overall) in 2006 draft.

Scott Hartnell

No. 19, age 28: Acquired June 18, 2007, along with Kimmo Timonen, from the Predators in exchange for a 2007 first-round pick.

Ian Laperriere

No. 14, age 36: Signed on July 1, 2009. Spent time with the Blues, Rangers, Kings, and Avalanche.

Ville Leino

No. 22, age 26: Traded from the Red Wings on Feb. 6, for Ole-Kristian Tollefson and fifth-round pick in 2011 draft.

Andreas Nodl

No. 14, age 23: Drafted in the second round (39th overall) of the 2006 draft.

Darroll Powe

No. 36, age 24: Signed as a free agent on May 24, 2007. Played college hockey at Princeton.

Mike Richards

No. 18, age 25: Drafted in first round (24th overall) of the 2003 draft.

James van Riemsdyk

No. 21, age 21: Drafted in the first round (second overall) of the 2007 draft.


Oskars Bartulis

No. 3, age 23: Drafted in the third round (91st overall) of the 2005 draft.

Matt Carle

No. 25, age 25: Acquired on Nov. 7, 2008, from the Lightning along with San Jose's third-round pick in the 2009 draft for Steve Eminger, Steve Downie and Tampa Bay's fourth-round pick (previously acquired) in the 2009 draft. Also played for the Sharks.

Braydon Coburn

No. 5, age 25: Acquired from the Thrashers for Alexei Zhitnik on Feb. 24, 2007..

Lukas Krajicek

No. 2, age 27: Signed on Jan. 30. Previously played for the Panthers, Canucks and Lightning.

Ryan Parent

No. 77, age 23: Acquired from Nashville, along with Scottie Upshall and first- and third-round picks in the 2007 draft in exchange for Peter Forsberg on Feb. 15, 2007.

Chris Pronger

No. 20, age 35: Acquired with Ryan Dingle from the Ducks for Luca Sbisa, Joffrey Lupul, two first-round picks and a conditional third-round pick in 2010 or '11, on June 26, 2009. Has also played for the Whalers, Blues and Oilers.

Kimmo Timonen

No. 44, age 35: Acquired with Scott Hartnell from Nashville on June 18, 2007, for a first-round pick.


Johan Backlund

No. 30, age 28: Signed as free agent on March 26, 2009.

Brian Boucher

No. 33, age 33: Drafted in first round (22nd overall) of 1995 draft. Signed as a free agent July 1, 2009. Besides the Flyers (1999-2002), also played with the Coyotes, Flames, Blackhawks, Blue Jackets and Sharks.

Michael Leighton

No. 49, age 29: Claimed off waivers on Dec. 15, 2009. Previously played for the Blackhawks, Predators, Flyers (2006-07) and Hurricanes.
