ORLANDO, Fla. - Hedo Turkoglu blocked Delonte West's driving layup at the buzzer to help Orlando clinch its first playoff berth in four years, beating Boston, 88-86.
Orlando's win and Indiana's loss to New Jersey combined to clinch the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Magic nearly blew a 17-point lead in the final 6 minutes, 41 seconds before Turkoglu clinched the win. Turkoglu led the Magic with 20 points. Grant Hill and Jameer Nelson had 16 each and Dwight Howard added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Al Jefferson led Boston with 28 points.
The Magic led, 87-86, with 13.5 seconds left when Howard missed two free throws to give Boston a chance.
Lakers 109, SuperSonics 98
LOS ANGELES - Kobe Bryant scored 50 points and the Los Angeles Lakers beat Seattle to clinch a playoff berth.
The Lakers, who have one regular-season game remaining, will finish seventh or eighth in the Western Conference.
Bryant scored 50 or more for the 10th time this season and 21st time in his career.
Bryant took charge after the Sonics, who trailed by 19 points in the first half, narrowed the margin to 87-86 midway through the final quarter.

INDIANAPOLIS - Vince Carter scored 35 points to help New Jersey beat Indiana, putting the Pacers on the brink of elimination from the playoffs.
Bostjan Nachbar scored 25 points and shot 6 for 6 from three-point range, and Jason Kidd had 12 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds for the Nets.
Warriors 121, T'wolves 108
OAKLAND, Calif. - Golden State had a superb day on both ends of California. Jason Richardson had 32 points and 12 rebounds, and the Warriors took sole possession of eighth place in the Western Conference with a win over Minnesota.
The Warriors (40-40) did it with one eye on the out-of-town scoreboard, where they watched the Clippers (39-41) lose to Sacramento and fall out of their eighth-place tie with Golden State.

LOS ANGELES - Reserve swingman Francisco Garcia scored 16 points, including a pair of three-pointers down the stretch, and Ron Artest had a career-high 10 assists to lead Sacramento to victory over fading Los Angeles.
Mike Bibby scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half as the Kings dealt a severe blow to the Clippers' playoff hopes. Artest had 15 points, including an 18-footer jumper with 36 seconds remaining after the Clippers had closed to 96-92 with a pair of three-pointers by Tim Thomas 26 seconds apart.

DALLAS - Bodies flew, emotions overheated, Tim Duncan was ejected, and Dallas beat San Antonio to end the Spurs' six-game winning streak.
Although their meeting had little bearing on the playoff picture, the powers played a tense game. The loss locks the Spurs into No. 3 seed in the West.

WASHINGTON - Ben Gordon scored 30 points as Chicago held a depleted Washington to 34 percent shooting and a season-low point total.
