New Jersey takes over Camden schools

Gov. Christie announces the “intervention,” March 25, 2013. He did not call it a “takeover” of Camden schools, but a “partnership” with the community and local Democrats. He offered few details about how and when students, teachers and parents would see changes in what he considers the lowest-performing district in the state.
