The primetime games throughout the 2023 NFL season have been made up of a lot of one sided wins, and I don’t see that being any different when the Broncos and Chiefs collide on Thursday Night Football.

Kansas City are -600 favorites at home against the +425 priced Broncos. The spread is 10.5 points and the totals market is 47.5 points.

I’ll give credit to Russell Wilson, who has been a better quarterback than last year. But he’s at best an average quarterback, which hasn’t been enough to carry his team that has a defense which gives up a league worst 36.2 points per game.

The Chiefs might not be the same high powered and explosive offense they were in years past. But they’ve won four straight by winning with defense, their rushing attack, and Patrick Mahomes making enough plays with his legs and arm talent.

Another important thing to note is that the Chiefs haven’t lost a game to the Broncos dating back to September of 2015. With those things in mind, I couldn’t be more comfortable picking Kansas City to win and cover the 10.5 point spread.
