Penn agreed to apologize to members of its women's swim team over Lia Thomas' participation in 2021-22. A Penn gender studies professor, called the deal reached with Trump 'a betrayal.'

La Salle President Daniel J. Allen said in a campus message that university officials are well aware of the financial challenges the school faces and are taking appropriate steps to address them.

The university updated its record book on Tuesday to comply with an agreement with the Department of Education. The transgender swimmer's name is still listed among the records for relays.

Just two weeks after upholding a ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth, the justices said they will review lower court rulings in favor of transgender athletes in Idaho and West Virginia.

School districts had to pass their own budgets but are stuck waiting on state funding while lawmakers and Gov. Josh Shapiro continue to negotiate. Some districts will need to borrow to make ends meet.
