The Pennsylvania attorney general’s Bureau of Consumer Protection is suing a home improvement businessman it says cheated customers out of their money.

The Pennsylvania attorney general's Bureau of Consumer Protection is suing a home improvement businessman it says cheated customers out of their money.

The state filed suit Friday in Montgomery County Court against Kenneth R. Staiger; two home improvement businesses he owns, Admiral Kitchens in Norristown and JKMS Enterprises in Radnor; and Renovay in Paoli, where he is a project manager, for allegedly not doing or properly completing kitchen and bathroom renovations.

The Attorney General's Office said Staiger and the companies did not respond to customers' complaints and requests for refunds, did not repair unsatisfactory work, did not honor warranties and guarantees, and did not properly cancel contracts with customers.

The Attorney General's Office asks that people who think they were victimized by these or other companies to file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection by phone at 1-800-441-2555 or online at www.attorneygeneral.gov.
