by Gabriela Carroll

The Phillies have been cruising, winning 11 of their last 13 games, capped off by a series win over the division-rival Braves. No, it hasn't been against the toughest competition, but the rotation and the lineup have both thrived, and national media has noticed. Here's where the Phillies rank in this week's power rankings.

The Phillies are up from third in last week's ESPN power rankings, beating out the Dodgers and Tigers for the top spot. "The Phillies are who we thought they were coming into the season, led by their starting pitching," Buster Olney said.

The Phillies are up from sixth in last week's MLB.com power rankings. "Sure, these wins have come against a weak stretch of their schedule, but it’s one thing to face lesser teams: It’s another to beat every one of them," Will Leitch said.

NBC Sports: No. 1

The Phils are up from sixth, ahead of the Tigers and Yankees. "While the Phillies saw their nine-game winning streak come to an end on Sunday, their recent heater has carried them to the top of this week’s rankings," D.J. Short said.

Fox Sports: No. 1

The Phillies are in the top spot, up from No. 5 at Fox Sports. "The offseason acquisition of Jesús Luzardo (5-0, 2.15 ERA) has turned an already terrific rotation into arguably baseball’s best," Rowan Kavner said.

The Athletic: No. 2

There had to be one. The Yanks beat out the Phillies for the top spot at the Athletic, but they're still the highest ranked NL team. Tim Britton named Zack Wheeler the early MVP and "one of the two best right-handed starters in the sport."
