Storied English Premier League team Manchester United will visit Philadelphia for the second time when it plays the Union at Lincoln Financial Field on July 21.
The Linc opened its doors in 2003 with a game between Manchester United and FC Barcelona. This will be Man U's third U.S. tour since 2004.
"Manchester United is one of the most successful clubs in the world and to be able to compete against it as the home team on the heels of the World Cup is a truly special experience," Union CEO Nick Sakiewicz said.
The Union was scheduled to host the Colorado Rapids on July 21, but the game was moved to Sept. 29.
The Red Devils' game against the Union is the second of four stops on a North American tour that has them playing Scottish side Celtic FC in Toronto (July 16, 7:30), MLS' Kansas City Wizards (July 25, 6 p.m.) and in Houston as the guest opponent for MLS' All-Star Game (July 28, 8:30 p.m.)
Tickets will become available beginning 10 a.m. Monday at PhiladelphiaEagles.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
