Women's field hockey: USA vs. Australia

Ashley Sessa, Kelee LePage, Karlie Kisha, and Phia Gladieux (pictured, right) continue group play against Australia at 7:15 a.m. Australia is unbeaten and currently second in the group, while Team USA is fourth. The top four teams advance.

Tennis: Men's doubles

Voorhees Township's Tommy Paul (pictured) and doubles partner Taylor Fritz advanced after one of the longest tiebreakers in Olympic history. They’ll face Dutch duo Robin Haase and Jean-Julien Rojer for a chance to play in the quarterfinals.

Women's water polo: USA vs. Italy

Media’s Jovana Sekulic (pictured) and Team USA, sponsored by Flava Flav, take on Italy at 12:30 p.m. Team USA is currently seeded third in its group with two games to play. The top four teams advance.

Women's soccer: USA vs. Spain

Penn State’s Sam Coffey and Alyssa Naeher (pictured) take on Australia for the final game of the group stage at 1 p.m. The U.S. women's national team is currently at the top of its group.

Men's basketball: USA vs. South Sudan

Joel Embiid (pictured) and Team USA nearly lost to South Sudan in a pre-tournament friendly. They meet again at 3 p.m. The Americans easily won their first group match vs. Serbia and a win Wednesday would virtually guarantee they advance.
