Alex Coffey: The bridge to Jhoan Durán seems daunting, at best, right now. That's what I'll be watching for in Game 2. Can the Phillies get shutdown innings from David Robertson, Matt Strahm and Orion Kerkering?

Scott Lauber: Go ahead and analyze the Phillies' Game 1 loss however you'd like. Here's what mattered most: Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber, and Bryce Harper combined to go 1-for-11 with six strikeouts.

The Dodgers have terrific pitching, especially in their starting rotation. But if neither Turner, Schwarber, nor Harper do damage against Dodgers starter Blake Snell in Game 2, the Phillies don't stand a chance.

Matt Breen: How do the Phillies replace Harrison Bader if he’s unable to play on Monday? Does Nick Castellanos enter the lineup since the Phils are facing a lefty? I think so. Here’s my guess at Monday’s outfield if Bader can’t go:

Castellanos in right, Marsh in center, and Weston Wilson in left field. Max Kepler, a left-hander, was in the lineup last month when Snell dominated the Phils in L.A. He went 0 for 3 with two strikeouts and started just five games vs. lefty starters. I’d expect Thomson to play the platoon and use the righty Wilson.

Lochlahn March: How will Harper handle the challenge of facing Snell? He is 1-for-11 in his career vs. the Dodgers starter — his one hit being a homer — but for Harper, there’s no time like the postseason. The Phillies needed more production from the top of their lineup in Game 1. Can he come through?

Marcus Hayes: One-for-11. That’s what the first through third hitters managed in Game 1. Harper, Turner, and Schwarber, all $709 million of them, got one hit. That’s the biggest reason why the Phillies lost. It’s why they will continue to lose if they don’t start earning their money.
