Lacrosse players honored

Tomorrow they will play against each other in the NCAA semifinals in Boston, but yesterday, Cornell defenseman Matt Moyer of Chadds Ford and the Tower Hill School, and Virginia defenseman Ken Clausen of Downingtown and the Hill School were named Division I lacrosse all-Americans by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Johns Hopkins midfielder Brian Christopher, from Springfield in Delaware County, was named to the third team. Kyle Wharton of Boothwyn and the Haverford School received honorable mention along with Brian Karalunas of Villanova.
