Lonnie Walker IV is settling in.

Guerschon Yabusele is exhausted. And while Sunday’s matchup was missing several starter-level players, Jared Butler did a solid job in the pick-and-roll.

Those three things stood out in the 76ers’ 126-122 victory over the Utah Jazz at the Wells Fargo Center.

After struggling in his first four games, Walker had his third solid performance in four contests. On Sunday, he had season highs of 25 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. The Reading native had 17 points on Thursday against Boston.

Yabusele only played 11 minutes, 39 seconds and didn’t score. Coach Nick Nurse was asked if anything was wrong with him. “Not that I know of,” he said, “other than heavy minutes. Lots of minutes. Lots of minutes.”

Butler’s performance

Butler has had his share of struggles after being acquired in a trade from the Washington Wizards on Feb. 6. But the point guard did a solid job of running the offense against Utah, finishing with 16 points and nine assists.

Some will argue his performance came against a tanking squad that played without most of its key players. But he made the right decisions in the pick-and-roll and appeared more comfortable.
