Track facts: The All-Star Challenge is a non-points event. The winner collects a tidy $1,011,125 . . . Johnson also won in 2003. Other winners since 2000 are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth and Mark Martin . . . Twenty-one drivers are in the field. Denny Hamlin and Casey Mears are first-time challengers. Mears is in, because he's now in the No. 25 Chevrolet. Brian Vickers won in the No. 25 at Talladega. Vickers also is in the race . . . Michael Jordan is the grand marshal.
