TOLEDO, Ohio - Cold shooting, particularly from three-point range, doomed Drexel last night as Toledo took a 57-44 nonleague win at John F. Savage Hall.

It was the third consecutive loss for the Dragons (5-4), who made just 1 of 15 three-point attempts.

Senior center Frank Elegar scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Drexel, although he was hampered by foul trouble.

Toledo led by just a point, 7-6, but went on a 19-2 run to take a 26-8 lead. Drexel, which went more than seven minutes without a field goal in that stretch, trailed by 36-19 at halftime.

The Dragons made 15 turnovers in the first half. They shot 38 percent in the half and 37.5 percent for the game.

Tyrone Kent had 14 points for the Rockets (2-7), and Jerrah Young contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds.
