Carrasco, 20, went a combined 12-6 with a 3.86 ERA last season for single-A Clearwater and double-A Reading. He is the organization's top prospect. Outman, 23, went a combined 12-7 with a 2.99 ERA in 27 games (25 starts) for Clearwater and Reading. Savery, 22, went 2-3 with a 2.73 ERA for single-A Williamsport.

Ticket distribution

Tickets for the 2008 season opener and for the Boston Red Sox series in June at Citizens Bank Park will be available through a drawing.

Beginning today, fans can register online at phillies.com for the game or games of their choice. There will be separate drawings for the 3:05 p.m. season opener against Washington on March 31 and for the three-game Boston series, which begins June 16. Names will be randomly selected, and those fans can buy four tickets to the game or games for which they were selected.

Fans must register by Feb. 25 for opening day and by March 3 for the Boston series.

LaForest's deal

has agreed to terms on a split contract for 2008. The big-league side of the deal is for the major-league minimum of $390,000.
