Walsh's 20 points leads Explorers

Christmas came early for Jamie Walsh and La Salle's women's basketball team as the Explorers broke a three-game losing streak when the sophomore's career-high 20-point effort led a 63-47 win over UNC Greensboro last night in first-round action of the Central Florida Classic in Orlando.

Carlene Hightower added 14 points and five assists, and Margaret Elderton chipped in 10 points. The Explorers are 4-6 heading into the final against Appalachian State. *
