NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Jamie Harris had 24 points and a season-high seven assists late Friday night as Drexel won its third straight game, beating host Cal-State Northridge, 75-63.
The Dragons (6-5) then quickly caught an overnight flight to head to No. 3 Kentucky (11-0) for tomorrow night's contest at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
In Friday's game, Drexel was tied, 46-46, with the Matadors (4-6) when Harris broke the deadlock midway through the second half with a pair of foul shots and the Dragons never trailed again, leading by as much as 10 points.
Drexel's Gerald Colds scored 17 points, and substitute Chris Fouch scored 12.
Samme Givens had five of Drexel's season-high 12 steals.
