Cycling race on Comcast

Comcast SportsNet will televise Sunday's TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship, the cable TV station announced. The company is promising the most comprehensive coverage in the event's history: Live coverage in high definition is scheduled for noon to 3:30 p.m., with a live simulcast on Versus to begin at 1:30 p.m. The race is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.

Comcast SportsNet will televise Sunday's TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship, the cable TV station announced.

The company is promising the most comprehensive coverage in the event's history: Live coverage in high definition is scheduled for noon to 3:30 p.m., with a live simulcast on Versus to begin at 1:30 p.m. The race is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.

In addition, Comcast SportsNet will feature a 30-minute race preview, a five-part series focusing on local cyclists in the race and the lore of the Manayunk Wall, and a showing of the 1986 race.

Comcast SportsNet will replay the 2010 race coverage on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and June 12 at 8 p.m., and Wednesday at 7 p.m. on the Comcast Network.

The race also will be available on Comcast On Demand beginning Monday.

The 1986 race will be replayed on the Comcast Network on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.

On Thursday at 11 p.m., Comcast SportsNet will preview the race with a 30-minute special. The special will be replayed Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet, and Friday at 11 p.m. on the Comcast Network.
