Philadelphia police have named a person they suspect vandalized a car belonging to a Montreal writer who was covering Game 1 of the Flyers-Canadiens conference finals at the Wachovia Center.
According to Detective Anthony Vega, information on the suspect - Dan Hazlett, 21, of Northeast Philadelphia - has been forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.
"We're awaiting a decision from the D.A. to see if they will approve a warrant for his arrest," Vega said Tuesday.
Vega said there were no other suspects.
The car belonging to Pat Hickey, a veteran reporter with the Montreal Gazette, sustained about $1,000 of damage. Its Quebec license plate was stolen.
