Brian Campbell scored on a second-period power play and the Florida Panthers staged their greatest playoff comeback in franchise history, rallying from an early three-goal deficit to defeat the host New Jersey Devils, 4-3, on Tuesday night.

Sean Bergenheim, Jason Garrison and Mike Weaver also scored and Scott Clemmensen made 19 saves after replacing Jose Theodore early in giving the Panthers a two-games-to-one lead in the best-of-seven EasternConference first-round series.

Zach Parise, Stephen Gionta and Patrik Elias scored for the Devils, who jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening 6 minutes, 16 seconds.

Preds top Red Wings

Kevin Klein scored a go-ahead goal 6:25 into the third period and Pekka Rinne made 40 saves, lifting the Nashville Predators to a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings and a three-games-to-one lead in the first-round Western Conference playoff series.

The Predators can eliminate Detroit in Game 5 on Friday night in Nashville.

Hossa injured

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa has been taken off the ice on a stretcher after being hit by Phoenix's Raffi Torres in the first period of Game 3 of their opening-round playoff series in Chicago.

Hossa was near the boards at center ice and had just turned and passed the puck when Torres left his skates and delivered a late shot with his shoulder that knocked Hossa to the ice. Hossa was down for about five minutes as medical personnel rushed immediately to his side, and then was taken off of the ice.

Blues take lead

If the San Jose Sharks' big guns don't start scoring goals soon, they might have a quick stay in the playoffs after making it to the Western Conference final for two straight years.

The St. Louis Blues have throttled the top line of Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski to take a two-games-to-one lead in their first-round playoff series.

Sedin practices

Daniel Sedin returned to practice with the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, skating alongside his brother for the first time since getting a concussion last month.

Sedin probably won't decide until game time Wednesday whether he'll suit up when the Canucks attempt to salvage their season. Finally symptom-free after 21/2 weeks of pounding headaches, Sedin is pondering whether to play in the crucial Game 4 of Vancouver's playoff series with the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night.
