Derrick Ross hauled in a touchdown late in the fourth quarter but it was not enough as the Soul lost on the road to the Pittsburgh Power, 65-57.

The fullback scored on a 39-yard pass from Dan Raudabaugh with 2 minutes, 11 seconds left to cut Pittsburgh's lead to eight. Raudabaugh completed 17 of 25 passes for 308 yards and five TDs. Ross rushed for a pair of touchdowns, both from inside the 5-yard line. Ryan McDaniel caught five passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns.

The loss was the first for the Soul (3-5) since April 4. Pittsburgh (5-3) entered on a two-game losing streak.

Pittsburgh quarterback Tommy Grady threw for 316 yards and eight touchdowns. He threw five touchdowns in the first half and the Power stormed out to a 17-point halftime lead. Rodney Wright had 16 catches for 163 yards and five TDs.
