Local players receive league honors

Leagues honor Temple’s Will Cummings, Jaylen Bond, Saint Joseph’s DeAndre’ Bembry and La Salle’s Jordan Price

Temple senior Will Cummings was named to first-team all-American Athletic Conference. Teammate Jaylen Bond, a junior, made honorable mention.

Cummings will receive consideration for AAC player of the year, which will be announced tomorrow.

Saint Joseph's DeAndre' Bembry was named first-team all-Atlantic 10, becoming the first sophomore since Delonte West in 2004 to earn the honor. La Salle's Jordan Price was named second-team all-league.
