Man shot to death outside Pennsauken club
Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a man outside a South Jersey club over the weekend while police were breaking up a fight nearby.
The shooting happened outside the Woodbine Catering club on the 1400 block of Route 73 in Pennsauken about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
The victim, identified Tuesday as Jamil Henry, 26, of Camden, was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead at 6:04 a.m.
Police were at the site to break up a fight in the parking lot when the officers heard gunshots and rushed to find Henry wounded. There was no word whether the two altercations were related.
