Judging by this year's beer list, the Big Philly Beerfest plans on living up to its name.
Returning for its third year on Jan. 13 and 14 at the Convention Center, this year's Big Philly Beerfest will bring more than 350 kinds of craft beer from more than 125 breweries. So, no, you won't be able to try them all — and live.
Tickets for the event are on sale, and cost between $45 and $75 in advance of the festival. Regular admission is $45 ($55 on the day of the festival), and includes a souvenir mug for unlimited samples. Early admission tickets are $55 ($65 day of), and include unlimited samples and one-hour-early entry. The "Connoisseurs Reception" tickets cost $75, and include unlimited samples, a snifter glass, access to a special reception area, private restrooms, and appetizers.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Animal Rescue Partners, a local organization focused on finding homes for rescue animals.
