Overcoming the mushroom skeptics
There was an awful lot of slicing, dicing, chopping, peeling and grating going on this week. We definitely had some mushroom skeptics in the group. It was Briana Williams' first time eating them and she was not a fan. We did explain to the children that sometimes you have to try a food 10-15 times before acquiring a taste for it. That did not go over very well!
Phares Lewis and Amin Irizarry had the job of overseeing the Bolognese on the stove. I mentioned that they were starting to look like professionals and Phares immediately said "we don't look like professionals, we ARE professionals!"
