CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Philadelphia's Lubash brothers earned unanimous decisions last night in the opening round of the Golden Gloves National Tournament of Champions.

James Lubash defeated William Ford-Walk of Toledo, Ohio, at 178 pounds, and Jesse Lubash beat Termaine Woodard of Cleveland at 152.

Jesse Lubash will face Richard Williams of Washington, and his brother will take on DeRae Crane from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich., in the second round tonight.

Philadelphia's Shawn Manning, 119 pounds, stopped Micha Branch of Columbus, Ohio, at 1 minute, 28 seconds of the third round. He will face Danny Aquino of Meriden, Conn., tonight.

Cleveland's Miguel Gonzalez took a 4-1 decision over Philadelphia's Anthony Flores at 132.
