After a year of wandering in the TV netherworld, Saint Joseph's, Temple and La Salle have been brought in from the cold by agreements between Atlantic 10 Conference TV-rights holder CSTV and 14 regional outlets, including Comcast SportsNet and CN8.

Last season, the first of the A-10's deal with CSTV, local viewers had almost no TV access to the city's three A-10 teams where, in previous years, games were on all the time. Then, CSTV and the local outlets could not agree on a deal. Now, they have a deal. And the fans get to see more games.

"Our fans deserve to see quality and exciting Atlantic 10 basketball action, and this syndicated package ensures them access throughout the season to a compelling lineup of conference games and rivalries," A-10 commissioner Linda Bruno said in a statement. "Now in its second year, our partnership with CSTV continues to be a success, providing more exposure and in-depth coverage of the Atlantic 10 than ever before."

Well, now it does. Beginning in mid-January, St. Joe's will be on nine times locally, Temple seven and La Salle three. It is not a perfect world, but much better than no world at all. *
