Another three-point barrage by Villanova led the Wildcats to a 78-51 win over Binghamton last night in a women's basketball game at the Pavilion.
Villanova (9-2) shot 18-for-35 (51.4 percent) from beyond the arc, the seventh time it had 10 or more treys in a game and second time it made a school-record-tying 18. For the season, the Wildcats have made 129 of 322. Their average of 11.7 "threes" leads the country.
Laura Kurz scored a career-high 28 for Villanova, hitting eight of nine three-pointers. *
