After a slow start, Sylvia Fowles helped eighth-ranked
(8-2) take a big lead, and then earned some rest.
Fowles scored 17 points as the Tigers routed Illinois-Chicago, 86-44, in Cancun, Mexico. Fowles played only 18 minutes as LSU won its fourth straight game.
The Tigers will face Miami today to complete the two-day event. Jessica Miller led the Flames (3-6) with 12 points.
