Barrage open season with a victory

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Ryan Boyle had three goals and a pair of assists yesterday to lead the Barrage to a season-opening 17-12 victory over the Washington Bayhawks at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.

Bobby Horsey also scored three goals for the defending Major League Lacrosse champions.

Roy Colsey added two goals for the winners. Conor Gill led the Bayhawks with three goals.

Barrage goalie Brian Dougherty and the Bayhawks' Chris Garrity each made 19 saves.
