Bracero, Rohena help Frankford top Central for Public League title
Jon Bracero's three-run double and Edwin "Tito" Rohena's RBI triple capped a nine-run third inning as Frankford topped Central, 15-5, to win the Public League baseball championship at Campbell's Field in Camden.

The game ended in the bottom of the sixth inning, because of the 10-run rule.
It was the fifth title in 6 years for the Pioneers.
Central had taken a 5-1 lead before Frankford exploded for its big inning. The Pioneers sent 13 batters to the plate in the third inning. They scored the first five runs of the inning without the benefit of a hit, after sending 10 batters to the plate.
Righthander Esteban "Shortie" Meletiche went the distance to pick up the win, and ended the game with a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning. *
