CSN names new senior VP

Comcast SportsNet has named Princell Hair as senior vice president of news operations.

Hair comes to CSN after stints at Viacom and Turner Broadcasting Systems. Hair will oversee news, studio programming and digital content for the company's 10 sports networks nationally.

"Princell's experience will be invaluable as Comcast SportsNet continues to expand into new markets and new platforms," CSN president Jon Litner said.

Hair replaces Tom Stathakes, who was with CSN since its debut in 1997 and now is a senior VP for the Golf Channel. *
