Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Golf Classic

The ever-growing Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame holds its third annual Hall of Fame Golf Classic on Monday at Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne.

Among the celebrities expected to attend are Tommy McDonald, Joe Watson, Bill Barber, Pete Retzlaff, Fran Dunphy, John Chaney, Ed Snider and Joe Frazier.

The event also will have an all-star honorary golf chairmen team of Hall of Fame inductees Tom Brookshier, Billy Cunningham, Bernie Parent and Robin Roberts.

Proceeds benefit Hall of Fame Charities, the foundation's charity division, which supports youth initiatives, and the Hall of Fame Museum Fund.
