Corin Adams scored 20 points as the Bears (6-1) held off the visiting Explorers, 71-70, in Baltimore.
Margaret Elderton and Morgan Robertson (13 rebounds) each scored 16 points for La Salle.
The Explorers outscored the Bears, 12-0, over the final 2:04, but Elderton had her potential game-winner blocked at the buzzer.
Ashley Gale had 14 points and Jamie Walsh added 12 for La Salle (4-4).
