In other women's games:
* At Temple, the Owls' valiant second-half effort wasn't able to overcome Florida State in an 86-67 defeat.
LaKeisha Eaddy led Temple (4-3) with 16 points and was aided by Shanea Cotton (10 points) and a career-high 11 from junior Kristin Watkins-Day. But constant foul trouble and a poor shooting effort from the Owls - who scored just 17 points by halftime - led to the defeat.
Alysha Harvin and Tanae Davis-Cain led the Seminoles with 20 points apiece.
* At Colgate, solid defense and a career day from forward Carrie Biemer lifted Penn to a 49-46 victory in overtime.
Biemer finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Quakers (2-6), who held Colgate to just 17-of-52 from the floor.
Patricia Oakes paced Colgate with 16 points. *
