The Flyers will try to continue their winning streak tonight against visiting Colorado, but goalie Marty Biron and defenseman Randy Jones will not be in the lineup.

Biron is ill and will be replaced by Antero Niittymaki.

Jones skated at today's morning practice, but coach John Stevens decided he wanted to give him a few more days before he returns to action. Jones has not played this season after undergoing hip surgery.

That means Andrew Alberts, who probably would have been a healthy scratch if Jones played, will be in the lineup.

The Flyers have won four straight and are 12-1-3 in their last 16 games.

They will be trying to avenge an early-season 5-2 loss in Colorado. Stevens sharply criticized the team after that Oct. 16 game, and the captains held a players-only meeting that turned around the season. The Flyers were 0-3-1 at that point. Since then, they are 16-4-5.

In that loss at Colorado, Biron surrendered five goals, including three on the power play.
