Andreas Nodl wasted no time after the Flyers sent him down, scoring a goal in the first period as the Phantoms won their seventh straight American Hockey League game last night - a 5-2 victory over the Lowell Devils at the Wachovia Spectrum.
Three other players who have spent time with the Flyers this season also scored: Nate Raduns, Jon Kalinski and Jared Ross. The Phantoms' fifth goal was scored by Claude Giroux, his 16th of the season, which ties the rookie for fourth in the AHL. Giroux, Kalinski and Ross all also had one assist.
Patrick Davis and Pascal Rheaume scored for Lowell.
The Phantoms have scored 30 goals during their winning streak.
The Phantoms are home again tonight when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05. Former Flyers' No. 1 draft pick Steve Downie is expected to be in the lineup for Norfolk. *
