Despite leading by as much as eight in the first half, Penn's halftime edge dissolved into a 62-52 loss to Drexel yesterday at the Palestra.
The Quakers (2-7) shot 54 percent from the floor in the first half (13-for-24), but went just 5-for-28 in the second. Drexel's Gabriela Marginean led the Dragons (4-4) with 21 points and nine rebounds. Kamile Nacickaite added 17 off the bench for Drexel. Carrie Biemer (22 points) led Penn.
