Nate Raduns scored the deciding goal nearly midway through the second period and spurred the Phantoms to a 5-2 victory over the Lowell Devils in an AHL game last night at the Wachovia Spectrum.
The Devils (11-11-1-3) struck first in the contest before the Phantoms (18-11) countered with three straight scores.
Claude Giroux tied the score, 1-1, nearly eight minutes into the first period before Andreas Nodl scored the go-ahead goal 11 minutes later.
Lowell quickly followed Raduns' score in the second to draw closer at 3-2. But Jonathon Kalinski's goal added to the Phantoms' lead. The only score of the third was Jared Ross' empty-netter.
