Lindsay Kimmel nailed six three-point shots as the Temple women's team rallied for a 75-71 overtime win over Tulane yesterday in New Orleans.

A sophomore from Binghamton, N.Y., Kimmel finished with a career-high 18 points.

Her biggest shot came with the score tied at 66 with 2 minutes, 30 seconds to play in overtime. As her three-pointer went down, teammate Shenita Landry was fouled while setting a screen for Kimmel. Her two free throws opened a five-point lead for Temple.

Landry had 16 points and 13 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season for the Owls (7-4). Shanea Cotton led Temple with 21 points, while LaKeisha Eaddy had her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and also had seven assists and six steals.

In other games yesterday:

* At Villanova, senior Siobhan O'Connor's career-high 22 points propelled the Wildcats (7-5) to their highest scoring output of the season in a 69-52 win over Sacred Heart (4-7).

Laura Kurz, Maria Getty and Heather Scanlon each scored 12 points for the Wildcats.

* At Philadelphia University, Saint Joseph's opened with a 13-point lead over Maine and never looked back in a 74-46 win at the 18th annual Hawk Classic.

Amy Gillespie led the Hawks (6-6) with 15 points, while Mariame Djouara scored 12 and Jenna Loschiavo had 11. Maine (2-9) shot 14-for-42 from the field, and committed 19 turnovers.

* Also at the Hawk Classic, Gabriela Marginean's 22 points and nine rebounds weren't enough as Drexel (4-6) fell to Holy Cross (2-9), 63-58. Sophomore Jasmina Rosseel had career highs of 19 points, with five three-pointers, and eight rebounds for the Dragons. Drexel held the Crusaders to just four field goals in the second half, but Holy Cross converted 21 of 24 free throws. *
