FORT WORTH, Texas - Tim Clark birdied the 18th hole for a 4-under-par 66 yesterday that gave him a 2-stroke lead entering the final round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club.

The South African was at 17-under 193 as he chased his first career PGA Tour victory. Steve Stricker was tied for second with Jason Day and Steve Marino.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Nick Price shot a 4-under 67 to take a 1-stroke lead over Joey Sindelar and Mark Wiebe at 7-under 135 entering the final round of the Principal Charity Classic at Glen Oaks Country Club.

European Tour

ASH, England - Christian Cevaer of France birdied the last hole for a 71 and a share of the European Open lead with Jeev Milkha Singh (70) of India at 9-under 207 on the London Club's Heritage Course.

NCAA Men

TOLEDO, Ohio - Texas A&M's Bronson Burgoon hit a gap wedge from the rough to within three inches of the 18th hole at Inverness Club to win his match and clinch the first NCAA Division I men's golf title for the Aggies.

Burgoon, a senior and the team's No. 1 player, had lost the previous four holes to Arkansas' Andrew Landry.
