Father Judge High's basketball program is now being headed by one of its former stars.
Sean Tait, the Catholic North MVP in his senior season (1995), and inducted into the school's basketball Hall of Fame in 2001, yesterday was named to replace Frank Cahill, who was fired in April after declining to resign.
With Joe Sette (since succeeded by Jack Walsh) on sabbatical, Tait spent the 2008-09 season as Archbishop Wood's head coach. He led the Vikings to a 16-7 overall record and the school's second regular playoff win in its 43-year history. *
