When ESPN moved part of its SportsCenter operation to L.A., the WWL said it would have celebrities drop by the studio. I was hoping for Megan Fox. Instead, the Jonas Brothers did the top 10 plays the other night. It was a total disaster (especially the skinny jeans).

After revealing that they like the N.Y. Giants, L.A. Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, the J Bros. said they also root for the Dodgers and the Yankees. "You like the Yankees and the Dodgers?" Stan Verett asked them. "We're going to have to talk after that show."

We also learned that they have calluses on their hands "from playing golf." Then, at the end, one of them did Stuart Scott's "booyah" thing.

Ugh. What say you about the Jonas Brothers and other "celebs" appearing on SportsCenter?

I think Cohen is better equipped to answer this one, don't you?

And I hate to say it, John, but Megan Fox is too young even for you.

Nah. Cohen thinks he's an expert on all things ESPN, but I'm not entirely sure he ever worked there. Has anyone called Bristol to see if his resume is legit?

Megan Fox is 23. I'm 32. Totally within my age range. Everyone knows the rule: To find the youngest person you're allowed to be with, divide your age in half, then add seven. Boom. Gonzo and Foxy sittin' in a tree. . . .

That formula seems awfully convenient for you, but whatever you say. First it was Erin Andrews. Now Megan Fox. Way to shoot high.

SC is all about entertainment. That's fine, but it's not really for me, whether it's the Jonas brothers or Jay Z. If I want entertainment, I'll watch the TMZ show.

Don't watch SC. Comes on at same time as may favorite show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Love Triple D. Guy Fieri is OK by me.

What if Guy had done the top 10 list and not the Jonas Brothers? Would you be OK with SportsCenter's sports/celebrity fusion then?

No. Guy is a Food Network dude all the way. He has my dream gig.

You're telling me you'd rather have a TV show where you get to tour the country eating terrific food instead of working in the newspaper industry? Odd. Just wait until Fieri shows up to review the Phillies press box fare. Maybe you'll realize how great you have it when he raves about turkey dinner night.
